Nitzanim’s programs reach 2,400 students, including 346 students from communities most affected by the October 7 attacks, such as Sderot, Ashkelon, Ofakim and the Kibbutzim along the border with Gaza (Be’eri, Nahal Oz, and others). Due to the displacement of some of these communities, Nitzamin is currently providing services to displaced students in Eilat
Nitzanim is increasing its activities in communities around Gaza. The Education Departments of local towns and cities have requested Nitzanim to admit an extra 150 students. Additionally, efforts are underway to offer supplementary support services to around 100 Nitzanim students coping with trauma stemming from the October 7 attacks and the persistent conflict in Gaza. Moreover, Nitzanim is establishing a classroom in Eilat to accommodate students displaced from the Kibbutzim along the Gaza border

Nitzanim provides educational opportunities to students from disadvantaged communities in Southern and Northern Israel. Nitzanim is a multi-year training process starting with students in middle-school. Its goal is to prepare students from disadvantaged communities for successful integration into IDF Technology Units and the local Technology industry following their army service.
